Maybe you've noticed that I've been writing a lot of posts lately.

It's true. I've written more in the last week than I did in the last six months or so. I'm not generally a fan of writing catch-up posts -- I think everything's better if it's right in the moment. Current. Happening right then. Memories are still fresh.

But I've missed documenting a lot of family memories from the last year, with maybe the notable exception of our amazing family reunion at the Oregon coast, which I put up as soon as I could. But I feel like I've left a hole in our lives that I'll regret later.

So, ...... that's why there's quite a number of  "catching up" posts. It's more for me, than for anyone else. If it weren't for my photos, I'd have forgotten most of this entirely. Thank goodness for modern technology and the ability to do this at all.

Thanks for sticking with me through them. I'll still write current stuff, too. And it will be fine in the end. If it's not fine, it's not the end.
